One Piece Card Game: Shanks (OP13-028) SP lost $42.87 in a week
Of 385 cards that trade often, 312 got cheaper and 68 got more expensive. Five of the six big drops came from The World's Strongest Warriors.
From October 29 to November 5, 312 of the 385 One Piece Card Game cards worth $20 or more that trade often got cheaper. Only 68 got more expensive. The median card lost 2.3%, with 81% of cards cheaper and 18% pricier.
Twelve cards moved 10% or more: six fell and six rose. The drops were concentrated in one set, and the biggest one in dollars was a Shanks.
Shanks lost $42.87, the biggest move in dollars
Shanks (OP13-028) (SP) in foil went from $195.49 to $152.62, a drop of 21.9%. On November 5 the cheapest copy for sale was $125.98, far under the market price, so sellers are asking well below what recent sales implied.
The card comes from The World's Strongest Warriors, released August 28. Its price changed 23 times in the last 30 days, so this is a card with steady sales behind it.
Five of six big drops came from one set
The World's Strongest Warriors supplied five of the six big drops. The steepest percentage losses were alternate arts:
- DON!! Card (Alternate Art) (Rocks) (Special Foil) fell 30.5%, from $40.10 to $27.86.
- Monkey.D.Luffy (093) (Alternate Art) lost 29.0%, ending at $21.00.
- Nico Robin (Alternate Art) and Rocks.D.Xebec (118) (Alternate Art) each lost 21.2%.
The sixth big drop came from an older set. DON!! Card (Heroines Special Set) (Gold) from Extra Booster: One Piece Heroines Edition, released February 20, fell 24.2%, from $100.64 to $76.31. That is $24.33, the second-largest dollar loss of the twelve.
Gains were smaller and spread across sets
The six gains came from five sets, and none was larger than $8.61. St. Topman Warcury (Alternate Art) rose 24.2%, from $24.46 to $30.39. Marshall.D.Teach (081) (Parallel) gained 20.4%, to $32.04.
Borsalino (Alternate Art) added $8.61, the largest dollar gain, moving from $70.02 to $78.63. The Azure Sea's Seven had two gainers: Trafalgar Law - OP14-009 (Alternate Art) at $35.85 and Nami (Alternate Art) at $65.65. We wrote separately about Nami Alternate Art in The Azure Sea's Seven.

A week tilted toward drops
With 312 cards down against 68 up, the week leaned clearly toward cheaper cards, even though the median loss was a modest 2.3%.
